Many recognize Alyson Stoner from her years as a child actor. She starred as Max in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and as Sarah Baker in the film Cheaper by the Dozen. Now 21, Stoner is spending a lot of time in the dance studio. When not teaching hip hop at the Millennium Dance Complex, she’s dancing and choreographing for music videos including Missy Elliott’s “Work It,” which has been watched more than 3 million times during its first day on YouTube.
But don’t peg Stoner as a hip hop dancer. She’s still acting. In 2015, she has a big part in the movie Hoovey. It’s about a teenager “Hoovey” (Cody Linley, fellow Cheaper by the Dozen alum) who has to teach himself how to live again after having a massive tumor removed from his brain. Stoner plays Hoovey’s sister Jen. Patrick Warburton (Puddy from Seinfeld) and Lauren Holly (NCIS) play their parents. Hoovey is produced by EchoLights, a company that produces movies for Christian audiences. Note: Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum is the CEO of EchoLights.
