Last time we saw American Idol contestant Michael Simeon, he was slow dancing with judge Jennifer Lopez. Now in Hollywood, Simeon’s sitting behind a piano, singing Demi Lovato’s “Warrior.”
Turns out Simeon can not only sing but he’s smart, too. He graduated in 2012 as valedictorian at Lumberton High School. (His brother did too, in 2009, and his sister in 2006!) At Michael’s graduation speech, he pulled his guitar from beneath the podium and sang a funny song about his classmates. He’s currently studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Mississippi.
