The Portuguese Air Force took this footage of its own AF P-3 Orion being interecepted by a Russian Airforce Su-27. At least that’s what the video says. Or it’s the next Tony Scott (director, Top Gun) messing around with some rad CGI in his parents’ basement. Either way, the video is pretty cool.
Credit is listed as Portuguese Air Force. The Aviationist says it was filmed in November 2014 by “one of the sensors carried by a Portuguese Air Force P-3 Orion MPA – Maritime Patrol Aircraft – during a mission over the Baltic Sea.”
