Lindsay Lohan is not done with David Mamet, it seems. The actress, who just finished her stage debut in London’s West End in a production of Mamet’s savage Hollywood satire Speed the Plow, has just posted a selfie from her dressing room with the cryptic message “And so it is. ONE MAMET DOWN!!! Next stop. 1 year #OLEANNA.”
Lohan’s performance in Speed the Plow received mixed reviews, and there was much buzz prior to its opening that the actress might be a no-show on some nights. But she obviously enjoyed the experience, and her Instagram feed is filled with theater luvvy well-wishes for her castmates and director. Perhaps she’s tweeting at David Mamet in the hopes of securing a part in his new play China Doll, which will debut next year on Broadway and will star Al Pacino.
