British actor Charlie Hunnam had a great run playing Jax in the FX hit series Sons of Anarchy. Now that the show is over (in the finale, Jax killed himself by driving his father’s motorcycle head on into a moving truck – Jax’s father died that way, too!), Hunnam has a number of film projects in the works including Guillermo del Toro’s horror flick Crimson Peak with Jessica Chastain and Tom Hiddleston. Hunnam plays a shy, stoic doctor who is madly in love with the female hero (Mia Wasikowska).
Next on Hunnam’s docket is Guy Ritchie’s Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. Hunnam plays the king. On the set, he’ll be reunited with his Pacific Rim co-star Idris Elba, who’s in talks to play Sir Bedivere, “Arthur’s father’s right-hand man, who will teacher Arthur how to lead an army.” Hunnam’s experience leading the biker club on Sons of Anarchy will come in handy.
