King of Queens actor/comedian Kevin James is reprising his goofy role as Paul Blart for the sequel Mall Cop 2. The Segway-riding security guard is in Las Vegas for a Security Guard Expo when he discovers a multiple casino heist is underway. It’s exactly what you expect – lots of physical comedy – Kevin James likes to throw his weight around, literally.
Although Mall Cop 2 won’t be released until April 2015, the official trailer is up on YouTube which has some Mall Cop fans irked. As Tw1s7Gaming wrote: “So I pretty much just watched the whole movie in a 2:40 movie video. Thanks.” Some other fans are wondering why James is bothering to do a sequel. Paul Blart: Mall Cop grossed $146 million on a $26 million budget, that’s why.
