Rock n’ Roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis has a new album out, “Rock & Rock Time,” and a book “Jerry Lee Lewis: His Own Story: His Own Story,” so he’s hitting the Big Apple this week to promote the hell out of both. He’s been playing at B.B. King’s place and on Monday, October 27, ‘The Killer’ is going to sit in with Paul Shaffer and the band on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”
The book is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Rick Bragg who uses some pretty frisky prose to describe the life of the Great Balls of Fire singer. The 79-year-old man who caused riots with his incendiary performances, married his 13-year-old second cousin, and nearly died twice still has a lot on his mind.
