Rugged golfer Greg Norman was doing his own landscaping in Florida when a branch knocked his hand into a running chain saw. The blade cut him on the wrist and did nerve damage, according to AP, but no muscular damage. Norman posted pictures on Instagram and told the story of his accident, calling himself “one lucky man today.” He also gave some advice that people really shouldn’t need reminding about: “Working with a chainsaw ALWAYS be respectful of the unexpected,” wrote the golfer, nicknamed The Shark.
Norman might be commended for pruning his own bushes. The former world #1 golfer has a net worth of $300 million by some counts. In addition to his golf winnings, clothing line, wine business, etc., Norman designs golf courses. That sometimes requires a lot of topiary work so it’s good to know The Shark keeps in practice. He’s recovering nicely.
