Legendary musician Neil Young, 68, filed for divorce from his wife Pegi Young of 36 years, last month. This week, he’s been photographed cuddling and kissing with 53-year-old actress Daryl Hannah (Splash, Wall Street, Steel Magnolias) in downtown Thousand Oaks, California. A source told People magazine that “they’ve been dating for months.” And when recording his latest album, Young had Hannah on Skype. She reportedly gave Young “feedback on every take.” This isn’t the first time Daryl Hannah has dated a singer. Jackson Browne divorced his wife in 1982 when he started dating Hannah. The relationship lasted 10 years.
In April, Daryl Hannah and Neil Young led a march by the “Cowboy and Indian Alliance” group to urge the Obama administration to reject the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline, which would carry crude oil from Alberta to the Texas Gulf coast. Neil Young’s latest single ‘Who’s Gonna Stand Up’ was inspired by the documentary ‘Under the Influence,’ which argues against the influence of corporate money in American politics.
