Confronted by investigation results, Arkansas Circuit Judge Michael Maggio admitted making Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron’s private adoption information public by posting about it online in 2012. Maggio couldn’t resist getting in the celebrity gossip game, apparently, after he became privy to Theron’s case details through a friend in the judicial system.
The Arkansas Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission investigated comments Maggio made using an alias at a site called tigerdroppings.com–a site devoted to Louisiana State University sports and culture. Besides spilling the details on Theron’s adoption, Maggio was found in violation of “at least 23 judicial codes” according to CNN. He got kicked off the bench by the Arkansas Supreme Court.
