You’ve got to vote for your America’s Got Talent favorite if you want to see the best contestant win. Part one of the America’s Got Talent season 9 double episode finale airs Tuesday, September 16, 9/8c on NBC. The enormously popular talent competition, which proves its title–America’s Got Talent–names its $1 million winner based on both professional judges and America’s votes. (In addition to the million bucks the winner also gets a show in Las Vegas.) The top 6 America’s Got Talent contestants–the musical quartet Sons of Serendip, the dance troupe AcroArmy, musician Miguel Dakota, magician Mat Franco, young singer Quintavious Johnson and country singer Emily West–have this last chance to win the hearts and votes of America’s Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, Mel B., and Heidi Klum–and the rest of America.
America’s Got Talent voting opens when the Tuesday night program show airs. The second part of the double episode airs Wednesday night and AGT is pulling out all the superstar stops. On the Wednesday night program the America’s Got Talent lineup of stars–not aspiring stars but those who’ve already arrived–include Jennifer Hudson, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull, Lenny Kravitz, Train, Cyndi Lauper and Travis Barker.
