It’s been two years since country singer RaeLynn was on NBC’s reality singing competition The Voice. She learned a lot from judge Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert, whom RaeLynn refers to as “her parents in this business.” Since losing on The Voice, RaeLynn has performed a song co-written with Lambert entitled “Lie” and sung backing vocals on Shelton’s single “Boys ‘Round Here.”
Now 20-years-old, RaeLynn has released her debut single on country radio, “God Made Girls.” The lyrics include: “So God made girls, God made girls / He stood back and told the boys, ‘I’m ’bout to rock your world.’” Although the song is already making a solid debut on the Billboard charts, Josh at CountryPerspective.com wrote: “I just can’t find anything redeeming or of good quality in ‘God Made Girls.'”
