Last week the most popular singer in America gave her fans, the Swifties, a clue to dream on as she posted a mysterious video on Instagram. The singer’s–or somebody’s–pretty finger pushes an elevator button for the 18th floor. And when it lights up so do eager fans–but about what? Is 18 the name of the new album? Is it a date–August 18? September 18? Is she waiting until 2018?!! Perish the thought. It’s another beautiful social media move from the ever creative Taylor Swift that gets the gears turning in fans’ minds and assures speculation remains rampant.
All Taylor wrote for her Swifties about the elevator video was “So, here’s your first clue…” Now a second clue–if it is one (could it be a Red herring?)–has been posted last. Swifties have even more work to do this time. A child’s drawing of a cityscape and a kitten? What could that mean? Not even some numbers to chew on… All Taylor Swift is saying to her 10,127,575 Instagram followers is “Cluuuuue number twooooo.”
