Founding member of the pop punk outfit Simple Plan, Pierre Bouvier started his first band at age 13. Reset, that original band, has proved durable even after Bouvier left–and it also became a kind of farm team for Simple Plan (most of Simple Plan’s members did time in Reset before resetting). Simple Plan has put out five albums between 2002 and 2013. And Bouvier married and started a family. He has two children: Lennon, who according to Wikipedia, was named after John Lennon and Soren, who may or may not be named after the philosopher Kierkegaard.
He likes photography and surfing, says his Instagram. He also admits, secondarily, that “I sing in a band called simple plan.”
