On the Return to Amish episode “Judgment Day,” Sabrina is back. After becoming addicted to prescription pills and being homeless, Sabrina went to rehab, counseling and therapy. When she reunites with Abe and Rebecca, she tells Abe how difficult it was but Abe isn’t overly enthused. A crying Sabrina tells him he’s acting like “it wasn’t worth any of it.” Abe reminds Sabrina that after rehab she relapsed.
While Abe chews out Sabrina on the porch, his wife Rebecca is seen in the yard, crouched down, praying. Rebecca says she’s praying for Sabrina to find the right path. But she’s keeping her distance from Sabrina. She explains: “Rather than stay in a situation that I cannot control or change, I find it better to walk away and just pray about it.” As soon as Rebecca utters those words, she sees Sabrina approaching her. Sabrina tells Rebecca, “I don’t want to talk to Abe, I want to talk to you.” Return to Amish airs Sundays at 9pm on TLC.
