The group therapy TV show The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition features six duos including Jessica and Josie Canseco. Jessica is the ex-wife of former MLB player Jose Canseco, who is the father of her daughter, Josie, a 19-year-old bikini model who is dating a former baseball player.
Jessica was 19, working at a Hooters restaurant in Cleveland, when she met Jose Canseco. They married in 1996, had Josie, and then divorced in 1999. Canseco’s infamous memoir Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits, and How Baseball Got Big was published in 2005, the same year Jessica’s autobiography, Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife, was released. To help promote the book, Jessica posed for Playboy. In 2007, Jessica married TV personality plastic surgeon Garth Fisher. They divorced in 2011. Since then, Jessica has appeared on the reality TV show Hollywood Exes. The Mother/Daughter Experiment airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Lifetime.
