French actress Pom Klementieff is best known for her role as Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — in the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers film franchises, among others.
When not promoting the recently released Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 with her co-stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan, Klementieff is turning heads on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.
When she posted the close-up photo above, of her in a purple sheer corset dress, she captioned it: “Have you seen ‘The Calm’ yet?”
‘The Calm’ is the title of the short film above which features Klementieff as a celebrity being picked up by a chauffeur in a sleek new car, the i7 M70 by BMW.
After a tussle with stuntman Nathaniel Perry (in the moving car that “practically drives itself”), Klementieff meets Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) at the 5-star Hotel Martinez overlooking the French Riviera.
Klementieff’s fans are going wild over the short film. As one replied: “Nice to see her play a different character other than Mantis.” Another chimed in: “So excited to see her in Mission Impossible.”
Klementieff is appearing in Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part 1 and Part 2 with Tom Cruise. Part 1 will be released in theaters on July 12.
