International superstar Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting The White Tiger in New Delhi, India. But she’s hardly having a Hollywood — or even a Bollywood — charmed movie star time. She’s gasping for breath and thinking about the homeless and the destitute who have no advantages.
Chopra — because she has the privileges of being a film star — gets a air filtering mask and access to air purifiers, while the average citizen is left to suffer the brutal air pollution situation. Chopra wears the mask both because she needs it and because she wants to demonstrate visually something that’s not easy to see: an air pollution epidemic.
She writes: “Shoot days for #thewhitetiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone.”
