NFL quarterback Baker Maysfield and the Cleveland Browns (2-2) head to San Francisco to play against the 49ers (3-0) at Levi’s Stadium. It won’t be an easy game for the Browns as the 49ers are off to their best start since 1998. But the Browns are bringing their new secret weapon, rookie starting punter Jamie Gillan aka The Scottish Hammer, with them.
Gillan played rugby in Edinburgh before moving to the US in 2014. He played college football at Arkansas-Pine Bluff before the Cleveland Browns signed him earlier this year. During the Browns’ second preseason game against the Colts, Gillan kicked a 74-yard punt and soon after was named the starting punter for the Browns over veteran Britton Colquitt.
When not on the field, Gillan spends time with his family including his gorgeous younger sister Mhairi Gillan, who’s been flaunting a lot of bikini pics on Instagram. (She ran indoor track in high school!)
