Stand-up comedian Howie Mandel is back as a judge on Season 14 of America’s Got Talent with Simon Cowell and newbies Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough. When not filming AGT, Mandel is likely spending time with his wife of 39 years Terry Mandel, their three children, and their grandchildren. On June 29, Mandel’s daughter Riley, 26, got married to iOS developer Cameron Ehrlich. And yes, there was a live sloth at the reception.
Riley’s brother Alex officiated the ceremony (as he did for their older sister Jackie in 2013.) Alex dressed up as a penguin for Jackie’s wedding. At the end of Riley’s ceremony, Alex emphasized that he wants Riley and Cameron to take life slowly and to enjoy every moment, so he brought a live sloth with him at the altar.
Bride and groom placed a hand on the sloth and made a promise to take life slowly and then concluded the ceremony by kissing the sloth. Jackie caught the wedding moment on film (see below). America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
