On the Season 8 premiere of Wife Swap, an obsessive perfectionist wife with kids who act like grownups swaps lives with a fun-loving, stay-at-home dad, Bo McMichael. When Bo arrives at the Benners home, the husband, Dwight, and three Benner kids (Grant, Clark and Vivienne) are surprised. The show is called Wife Swap, so they expected a female. Not only is Bo laid-back but he’s hilarious, too. When young Clark goes into details about his most recent sophisticated science project, Bo tells Clark, “With me and my boys, we dig holes.” Bo confesses later to the camera, “My head hurt a little bit. I’m not gonna lie.”
According to his LinkedIn account, after playing high school and college football (Maryville College, where he was a four-year Varsity football letterman) and becoming a coach, Bo started doing standup comedy in 2005. But as he writes he has been making people laugh (and roll their eyes) for a lot longer than that!” Somebody give Bo his own show! Wife Swap airs Thursdays at 9pm on Paramount Network.
