In the NCIS episode “Judge, Jury…”, while McGee (Sean Murray) visits an impressive tech company in Silicon Valley that’s offering him a big-bucks job, NCIS Special Agents Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) go to court. Kasie has solved a 30-year-old murder case thanks to entering cold case DNA into the system, but a legal loophole could set the suspect free. The judge hearing the case is Judge Miles Deakin, who’s portrayed by 6’3″ veteran actor Mike Farrell.
The 80-year-old actor is best known for his role as Captain B.J. Hunnicutt on M*A*S*H*, for which he was twice nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. Farrell is also recognized for his roles on American Crime Story (Chicago real estate tycoon Lee Miglin), Desperate Housewives (Milton Lang), The Red Road (David Rogers), Providence (Dr. James Hansen), and Superman (Jonathan Kent), among others.
Farrell has also produced movies including Patch Adams starring the late Robin Williams, and Dominick and Eugene starring Ray Liotta and Tom Hulce. NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on CBS.
