Twelve new celebrities are competing against each other on Season 2 of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. One of the oldest and wealthiest celebrities in the Big Brother House is 55-year-old financier Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci, whose net worth is reportedly around $200 million. The former Wall Street hedge fund manager (and former White House Director of Communications for a week last summer) is also the most formal as he wears a jacket and tie on the show.
[Scaramucci wrote Trump: The Blue Collar President]
In a pre-show interview, Scaramucci explains why he joined the cast of the reality TV show. “It’s so out of my comfort zone and it’s so outside anything I’d ever do and it’s such an improbable ask that of course I’m going to accept it.”
From an outsider’s prospective, nothing seems improbable about “the ask” if you consider that Scaramucci’s last boss (President Donald Trump) was a reality TV star, and that last year when Trump fired Omarosa from his White House communications office, she competed on Season 1 of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. Plus, Scaramucci is a recurring guest on the sports/comedy podcast Pardon My Take. So really, Scaramucci’s participation on the show is very probable. Some might say predictable.
