‘A Christmas in Tennessee’ Star Rachel Boston Was Miss Teen Tennessee
In the Lifetime movie “A Christmas in Tennessee,” Allison Brentley, owner of Rocky Top Bakery in White Pines, Tennessee is approached by a charming real estate developer named Matthew (Andrew Walker). He wants to buy her bakery and all of the other small businesses in the sweet mountain town not to keep things as they are but to turn the town into a corporate ski resort. Allison walks a thin line when she sets out to stop the corporate takeover and falls for Matthew at the same time. Good thing Allison has her mother Martha (Patricia Richardson, Home Improvement, The West Wing), and the local Mrs. Claus (Caroline Rhea, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) to help.
Allison is portrayed by Rachel Boston, who was actually born and raised in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Boston is known for her roles on Witches of East End (Ingrid Beauchamp), In Plain Sight (Det. Abigail Chaffee), Scoundrels (Tanya Leterre), The Ex List (Daphne Bloom), 7th Heaven (Ms. Margo), and American Dreams (Beth Mason), among others. Fun fact: She was Miss Teen Tennessee and top ten at Miss Teen USA in 1999. A Christmas in Tennessee premieres on Lifetime on Sunday, December 9 at 8 pm.
