In The Resident episode “Heart in a Box,” while Mina (Shaunette Renee Wilson) and Austin (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) work on a difficult heart transplant, Bell (Bruce Greenwood) recommends one of Julian’s (Jenna Dewan) risky medical devices to the mother of young patient Henry Barnett, Zoey Barnett. Zoey was in the October episode “The Germ” which had Zoey mourning the lost of her other young son Jasper who died of cancer. Conrad (Matt Czuchry) once again butts heads with Bell about using one of Julian’s medical devices.
Zoey Barnett on The Resident is portrayed by Daniella Alonso. The former Ford model is known for her roles on Criminal Minds (Lisa Douglas), Animal Kingdom (Catherine), Being Mary Jane (Marisol Esparza), The Night Shift (Dr. Landry De La Cruz), Revolution (Nora Clayton), Friday Night Lights (Carlotta Alonso, SEE LINK ABOVE), and One Tree Hill (Anna Taggarro), among others. Alonso is also recognized for her roles in the films Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (Divina Martinez) and The Hills Have Eyes II (Missy). The Resident airs Mondays at 8 pm on FOX, right before 9-1-1.
