On the Season 5 premiere episode of Fresh Off the Boat, “Fresh Off the RV,” the Huang family is excited about the release of Jessica’s (Constance Wu) book. While she prepares for her first bookstore reading, her husband Louis (Randall Park) buys an RV with the intent of going on a book tour across the country to promote Jessica’s book. Louis buys the RV from Los Angeles Lakers champion Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (who plays himself). He owns an RV dealership which is managed by Calvin, who’s portrayed by Jaleel White.
White is known for his roles on Trial & Error (Atticus Ditto, Jr.), Me, Myself and I (Darryl), Fake It Til You Make It (Reggie Culkin), Grown Ups (J. Calvin Fraizer), and Family Matters (Steve Urkel), among others. Fun fact: White made his TV debut on a 1984 episode of The Jeffersons. You can see Jaleel White next on Shark Tank, Season 10 which premieres on Sunday, October 7 (see photo below). Fresh Off the Boat airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC, right before Speechless.
