In the Season 2 premiere episode of Midnight, Texas, “Head Games”, the Midnighters finally settle down after shutting the veil to hell. But the serenity doesn’t last long. The opening of a new hotel, Crystal Desert, rocks their stability once again. One of the owners of the hotel is holistic healer, Kai Lucero. The Midnighters are impressed with Kai and his powers after healing Manfred (François Arnaud). But is Kai legit?
The holistic healer Kai Lucero is portrayed by Nestor Carbonell. He’s known for his roles on Bates Motel (Sheriff Alex Romero), State of Affairs (Raymond Navaro), Ringer (Agent Victor Machado), Lost (Richard Alpert), and Suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields (Luis Rivera), among others. Midnight, Texas airs Fridays at 9 pm on NBC, right after Blindspot, and right before Dateline.
