On the Teen Mom OG episode “Unconditional Love,” Cheyenne’s father is not happy when he finds out that her boyfriend Zach lives with her. Meanwhile Maci has an awkward hand-off with Ryan’s mom, Jen, while Amber has a heart-to-heart with her cousin Krystal. While watching her newborn James, Amber says, the adjustment of having another baby in the house has been going well but, “It still bothers me that Leah’s not wanting to come over and just hang out.” Krystal tries to tell Amber that that’s normal for a kid her age (9). “It just sucks because for the last few weeks, I’ve been really depressed.”
So much so that Amber went to the hospital to get checked out. She was told she doesn’t have postpartum; “it’s just my bipolar,” she says. She was told to “get a hold of my psychiatrist.” Amber got back on a couple of her medications. She tries to explain, “I’ve never been happier in my life but I’m depressed.” It’s complicated.
