In the Lifetime movie “Psycho Ex-Girlfriend,” Elle (Kimberly-Sue Murray) is the psycho ex-girlfriend. She’s straight out of rehab and wants to win back her boyfriend Tyler (Morgan Kelly) who’s now engaged to Kara. Kara is a psychiatrist and is now treating Elle who says in one of her sessions, “I don’t know if I was more addicted to the drugs or the sex” with Tyler. Kara tries to keep her man and prevent him from slipping into old bad habits but she ends up playing a sick game of cat and mouse.
Kara is portrayed by Elisabeth Harnois. Harnois is known for her roles on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Morgan Brody, see link above), Miami Medical (Dr. Serena Warren), 90210 (The Blonde Blended), Without a Trace (Erin MacNeil), One Tree Hill (Shelley Simon), and Point Pleasant (Christina Nickson), among others. Fun fact: In the late 1990s, Harnois voiced Alice in Disney’s animated series Adventures in Wonderland. Psycho Ex-Girlfriend premieres on Lifetime Movies on Saturday, May 19 at 8pm.
