Basketball Wives is back for its seventh season on VH1. While the original wives — Shaunie O’Neill, Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada and Jackie Christie — continue to stir the pot among them, they will also meet three new wives. Two of the new wives are kinda related. CeCe Guiterrez is in a serious relationship with Byron Scott, the 57-year-old NBA coach/former NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers. And Kristen Scott is married to Byron’s son, Thomas Scott. (P.S. Basketball Wives star Malaysia Pargo’s is Byron’s cousin!)

Thomas Scott worked with his father when Byron Scott was Byron was head coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers (Thomas was a player development/video coach) and when Byron was with the New Orleans Hornets (Thomas was an assistant video coordinator). In 2015, Thomas made his debut as an NBA assistant coach when his father was head coach of the Lakers. Thomas is now head of basketball operations for Ice Cube’s BIG3 3, the 3-on-3 basketball league which features mostly retired NBA players. Basketball Wives airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
