In the MacGyver episode “UFO + Area 51,” Mac (Lucas Till) and Riley (Tristin Mays) are called in by the U.S. government to examine a mysterious object that crash-landed in the Nevada desert. While on the job, they’re attacked by a group of masked men and they meet Dr. Isaac Herman.
Dr. Isaac Herman is portrayed by Arye Gross. He’s known for his roles on Castle (M.E. Sidney Perlmutter), The Riches (Pete Mincey), The Practice (Rabbit Daniel Warner), and Ellen (Adam Green), among others. Gross is also recognized for his roles in the films Minority Report with Tom Cruise and The Experts with John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston (see photo below). Fun fact: Gross’ father was an aerospace engineer. MacGyver airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS, right before Hawaii Five-0.
