Jackie Verna is one of the five remaining singers on Team Adam on The Voice, Season 14. Jackie gets the chance to sing one more time on the third and final night of The Voice Live Playoffs. Either America will save her, or Adam Levine will — or she’s sent home. The 23-year-old singer has come a long from being a self-admitted “bedroom singer.” Jackie told her local newspaper, before The Voice, “I just liked to sing, so there was me doing concerts of country and pop music in my bedroom.”

While Jackie says she wouldn’t reject super stardom she wouldn’t seek it either. “If I can pay my bills by singing, I will be content,” says the modest singer. She goes on to explain, “One of the things that I gotten me to where I can go from being a bedroom singer to the glamour and pressure of The Voice is I have developed my own sound and have something in me that wants me to express it in singing.” That has been demonstrably true as she keeps advancing, winning praise and fans along the way. The Voice Live Playoffs begins Monday, April 16 at 8pm on NBC.
