Catie Turner is the wacky and wild 18-year-old from Langhorne, Pennsylvania who’s competing on American Idol. Although Catie was voted “Most Likely to Say the Wrong Thing at the Wrong Time” in high school, she’s been charming the world with her enthusiasm and undeniable singing talent. Thanks to the encouragement of the judges and votes from America, Catie has made it to the American Idol Top 10. When the Top 10 were revealed, Ryan Seacrest announced that all ten singers were being sent to Disneyland for a little R&R between performances.
Fellow Top 10 contestant Maddie Poppe took a handful of cute photos of Catie with her best friend, her mom, at Disneyland. In the one below, Catie announces that she and her mom just ate two Dole Whips at Disneyland and “only twenty more to go!” The Hawaiian pineapple brand is behind Dole Whips, which looks like a soft-serve ice cream treat but it’s dairy-free. (SEE LINK ABOVE.) It’s pineapple flavored dry mix with water poured through a soft-serve machine and into a glass of pineapple juice! (There are other flavors too including: lemon, orange, strawberry, raspberry, and mango.) American Idol airs Sundays and Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
