In the Kevin (Probably) Saves the World episode “The Right Thing,” while Kevin (Jason Ritter) tries to help a stranger honor the burial wishes of his dead uncle, Kevin realizes that his relationship with Kristin (India de Beaufort) is in serious jeopardy. Meanwhile Yvette (Kimberly Hebert Gregory) brings in her fellow celestial being Cindy to stir things up with Kevin. Yvette introduces Cindy as her replacement and Kevin’s world is (literally) turned upside down.
Cindy is portrayed by Leslie Jones. She’s known for her roles on Saturday Night Live (she was nominated for an Emmy in 2017), and in the comedic films We Are Family (Leslie The Driver), Ghostbusters (Patty Tolan), Trainwreck (Angry Subway Patron), Masterminds (Scanlon), House Arrest (Boss Lady), and Lottery Ticket (Tasha), among others. Jones is currently starring in the Amazon Alexa TV ad campaign (see video below). Kevin (Probably) Saves the World airs Tuesdays at 10pm on ABC, right after The Bachelor.
