In the WAGS Atlanta episode “Peaches in the Big Apple,” Niche Caldwell, wife of NFL football player Andre Caldwell, is having dinner with her mother Nikki Torian. Niche tells her mother, “I can’t follow all of your direction.” Nikki doesn’t understand why not. “I’m the original WAG, and I got to tell you something, I can teach you some things.” That’s when Niche reminds her mother than she’s been divorced twice. “Yeah, so I know what I’m talking about,” Nikki says with a smile. Niche questions if her mother “knows how to stay married.”
Nikki, who is originally from Savannah, Georgia, says yes and goes on to compare Niche’s father to her husband Andre. Niche says she doesn’t need to compare the men but that doesn’t stop Nikki. Like Andre, Niche’s father was a professional athlete. He was a professional baseball player who made it to the World Series but he wasn’t always in the limelight. Nikki says, “But Andre is used to the limelight. He doesn’t get sidetracked. He’s already got focus.” Their conversation is interrupted by a call. It’s Niche’s manager on the phone, calling to tell her she got a modeling gig (with designer Mac Duggal) at New York Fashion Week. Both ladies cry with joy.
