Two young entrepreneurs from Philadelphia, Jess Edelstein and Sarah Ribner, are the founders of Piper Wai. It’s an all-natural deodorant made from activated charcoal which is known for neutralizing odor and absorbing moisture without aluminum. Edelstein and Ribner pitched their business on Shark Tank in December 2015 and made a deal with Barbara Corcoran. They sold $1 million worth of product in ten days after the episode aired.

Since Shark Tank, Piper Wai has received a packaging design makeover and has launched a stick applicator. The original Piper Wai came in a 2 oz. jar and needed to be applied with fingers.
