The 3-minute video released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police shows scrambling and chaos as the police try to instruct people how to escape as gunfire goes off in the background. The gunfire itself sounds like fireworks or even just cap guns, not very loud but consistent and percussive.
One cop says calmly: “Hey they’re shooting right at us guys” while another is heard screaming instructions: “Go that way! Get out of here there’s gunshots coming from over there. Go that way!” Then there is plenty of “Get back, get back, get back.”
