One of the serious contenders to win Season 12 of America’s Got Talent is singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer. The 13-year-old from Oklahoma won the Golden Buzzer from Mel B, and ever since, she’s been winning the hearts of the judges, the audience, and viewers at home. Darci Lynne makes ventriloquism seem new, but she’s hardly alone in the business. Before the AGT winner is announced on September 20, comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will perform on the Dolby Theater stage.
Dunham is currently promoting his Netflix special ‘Relative Disaster‘ which was filmed in Ireland. He and his “demented posse of dummies” traveled to the Emerald Isle to discover Dunham’s roots. The man who holds the Guinness World Record for “Most Tickets Sold for a Stand-up Comedy Tour” (he sold 1,981,720 tickets for his Sparks of Insanity Tour), will hang around Hollywood the day after the AGT Finale to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Dunham will launch his Passively Aggressive tour in 2018. The Live Finale of America’s Got Talent airs Wednesday, September 20 at 8pm on NBC.
