One of the most memorable acts on Season 12 of America’s Got Talent was Singing Trump. An unnamed impersonator of the president got on stage mimicking the president’s voice and gestures and then surprised everyone by (staying in character) while singing and dancing to medleys of pop songs including the Backstreet Boys’ hit “Bye Bye Bye” and MC Hammer’s “Hammertime.”
The Singing Trump made it to the Live Shows but he didn’t win enough votes to advance to the semi-final round. When he was told he didn’t make it, he gave out “Make AGT Great Again” baseball hats and took over the stage, grabbing Tyra Banks’ mic and announcing that he’d be performing at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. According to USA Today owned Desert Sun, Singing Trump is portrayed by 56-year-old former soap opera actor Jeff Tracta, who’s known for his role as Thorne Forrester on the Bold and the Beautiful (1989-1996). Since then he’s been performing stand-up comedy, variety shows and singing impersonations including Lady Gaga, Elton John and Eminem, among others (see below). America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
