After a 29-year hiatus, The Battle of the Network Stars is back on primetime TV. The star-studded show featured actors across all three major networks at the time (ABC, NBC, and CBS) who had fun compete against each other in athletic events like a relay race. Back in the 70s, Americans tuned in to watch gorgeous stars like Farrah Fawcett (Charlie’s Angels) run in tight t-shirts and short shorts. Sports announcer Howard Cosell, Olympian Bruce Jenner, and NFL player O.J. Simpson were the original co-hosts. Yes, you read that correctly.
