The protagonist of the TV movie Deadly Sorority is Samantha Blake (Greer Grammer). After she and her best friend Kristina Roberts (Emilija Baranac) go their separate ways at college. Soon after Kristina joins a popular sorority on campus, she’s murdered. Samantha does her best to try to the put the pieces together. She turns to Professor Amy Thomas for help.
Professor Thomas is portrayed by Moira Kelly. She’s known for her TV roles on One Tree Hill (single mom Karen Roe), The West Wing (White House media consultant Mandy Hampton), and for her roles in the films Little Odessa (Alla Shustervich), Chaplin (Hetty Kelly/Oona O’Neill Chaplin), and in the Twin Peaks movies (Donna Hayward), among others. Or you might recognize her voice from The Lion King (Simba’s love interest Nala). Deadly Sorority premieres on Lifetime on May 6 at 8pm.
