Not many people get to sing on live TV and even fewer get to sing live on TV with Grammy Award-winning musician Alicia Keys. Chris Blue is one of them. During The Voice live finals, Chris will sing the Prince duet “Diamonds and Pearls” with his coach Alicia Keys. He’ll also get to sing the Janet Jackson cover “Rhythm Nation.” For his original song, Chris will song the R&B song “Money On You.”
“Money On You” was written by Mike Dupree (who’s worked with everyone from T.I. and TreySongz to K. Michelle to Snoop Dogg), JHart, SCribz Riley, Talay Riley, and Tinashe “T-Collar” Sibanda. The lyrics include: “My money’s on you. Fire couldn’t make me sweat the way you do. You’re dangerous. You and your bad self.” The winner of The Voice will be announced on Tuesday, May 23 (8pm, NBC).
