In the Lifetime movie Mommy’s Little Boy, while mother Briana Wilson (Bree Williamson, General Hospital) grieves the death of her son Max who has drowned, her other son Eric (Peter DaCunha, 12 Monkeys) bonds with his baseball coach, Michael Davis. To say that Eric enjoys spending time with his coach more than with his mother is an understatement. With Coach Michael, Eric gets to go camping and roast marshmallows; with his mother, he watches her hit someone over the head with a frying pan and then is forced to help her dump the body in the woods.
Coach Michael is portrayed by Paul Popowich. The Canadian-born actress is known for his roles on Hemlock Grove (JR Godfrey), Cracked (Dr. Sean McCray), Degrassi: The Next Generation (Asher Shostak), The Bridge (Tommy Dunn), Angela’s Eyes (Jerry Anderson), Twice in a Lifetime (Mr. Smith), and The Hardy Boys (Joe Hardy), among others. Mommy’s Little Boy premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, March 18 at 8pm.
