Horror master Stephen King has gone out of his way to tell people that nothing he’s written is as scary as President Trump. And despite King’s efforts, voters created what King thinks is a real monster and voted Trump in anyway. Since King’s pre-election scare tactics fell on many deaf ears, the masterly author has switched to comedy to describe his antipathy toward Trump.
Trump should know OBAMA NEVER LEFT THE WHITE HOUSE! He’s in the closet! HE HAS SCISSORS!

[LEFT: JJ Abrams says Stephen King’s new Gwendy’s Button Box is a stunner.]
After all, Trump frequently displays what looks like paranoia — with the media is against me, the Mexicans are going to kill us, millions of illegal votes for Clinton being a few of his favorites. (This is not to say that Trump is actually paranoid; these accusations double as enormously effective distraction/manipulation devices.) Trump’s latest accusation — that Obama wire-tapped him during the campaign got King’s comic sensibilities up. Horror and comedy are closer cousins than most people think. Here is a sampling of King’s Twitter reaction to Trump’s wiretap claim.
Obama tapped Trump’s phones IN PERSON! Went in wearing a Con Ed coverall. Michelle stood guard while O spliced the lines. SAD!

Not only did Obama tap Trump’s phones, he stole the strawberry ice cream out of the mess locker.

King did not specify that he is working on a Trump-inspired book, nor did he say the following tweet was about one:
Working title for every book I have ever written: THIS PIECE OF SHIT WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME
