On the Duck Dynasty episode ‘End of an Era’, 68-year-old Si Robertson announces his retirement from the family business, Duck Commander. When the family asks if he wants a retirement party, Si says yes, “a slamboree, a wingding, a shindig” or in other words “a blowout party.” While the family organizes the “slamboree,” his brother Phil and nephews Willie and Jase try to find the perfect retirement gift. They’ll need to take a road trip together in order to find it. (Hint: It’s an old duck call.)
What will Uncle Si do will all his free time, you ask? A&E says he’s pursuing a music career. He performs at his retirement party with the help of a special musical guest. Duck Dynasty airs Wednesdays at 9pm on A&E.
