Lifetime has made a biopic about pop star Britney Spears, Britney Ever After. It starts with the beginning of her career on the Mickey Mouse Club where she met Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera. It follows Britney at the height of popularity, during her marriage, becoming a mom and her “fall from grace.” Don’t worry, it ends on a positive note. As Britney says, “I want to be strong, for my fans.”
Britney Spears is portrayed by Natasha Bassett. The Australian-born actress is recognized for her role as Gloria DeLamour in the 2016 Coen Brothers film Hail, Caesar! starring George Clooney and Josh Brolin. Britney Ever After premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, February 18 at 8pm.
