On K. Michelle: My Life, when K. isn’t worrying about the opening of her restaurant in Atlanta, Puff & Petals Lounge, she’s working on launching her own record label, No Color, No Sound with Atlantic Records. She’s found her first artist, her protégé Gabby Green.

When K. tells Gabby that they’re going to need about six months to get ready before meeting Atlantic, Gabby looks a little disappointed but she nods her head in agreement. Gabby gives K. a sweet smile and says, “You’re gonna be proud of me, watch.” When not in the studio, according to Gabby’s website, she’s studying music business at Belmont University in Nashville. (She’s from Memphis, too.) K. Michelle: My Life airs Mondays at 9:30pm on VH1.
