Reality TV star “Mama” June Shannon, mother of “Honey Boo Boo,” has her own new reality show called Mama June: From Not to Hot. She last appeared on Botched and on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars with her estranged husband Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson. That didn’t end well. Thompson is now getting remarried. The news of his engagement prompts Mama June to do something about her weight and dating life. But the 352 lb. 37-year-old can’t do it alone. She opts for gastric bypass surgery. A sneak peek of the show announces that Mama June is now a size 4.
That said, Mama June is reportedly still wearing bigger clothes. Her daughter Pumpkin told ET, “She doesn’t want to [buy new clothes].” We’ll see how long that lasts. Mama June: From Not to Hot airs Fridays at 10pm on WEtv.
