In the Season 2 premiere episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, ‘Blinged Up, Throne Down’, the star of the show Romeo Miller returns home after spending a few months in Mexico “filming my movie.” Romeo’s been filming several movies this past year including Little Dead Rotting Hood and Jarhead 3: The Siege, and he recently appeared on an episode of Empire (as Gram).
The movie Romeo filmed in Mexico is an action/horror film titled Dead Trigger (based on the game) starring Dolph Lundgren (Drago in Rocky IV, The Expendables), Autumn Reeser (Hawaii Five-0, Entourage), and Isaiah Washington (Grey’s Anatomy, Romeo Must Die). Dead Trigger will hit theaters in 2017. Growing Up Hip Hop airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
