WikiLeaks published more than 1,000 emails received and sent by Hillary Clinton when she was Secretary of State. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was interviewed on ITV (see below) before the emails were published — prepping the public for the data dump. In the interview, Assange predicted that as long as Loretta Lynch was leading the investigation of Clinton’s emails, Clinton would not be indicted. Lynch is also in charge of the ongoing WikiLeaks case.

Assange alleged that Clinton has received updates from Lynch’s team regarding Assange’s personal situation and that Clinton has pushed for the prosecution of WikiLeaks. “We do see her as a bit of a problem,” said Assange, “for freedom of the press generally.”
